Me and my Lazy Brain
Today I was having a conversation with a friend about the ups and downs (mostly downs) of going to a single sex school (Just in general. We don't go to a single sex school.). One problem I said was not having anyone to impress and thinking about it now, what the hell was I thinking?!?! I might have been tired or hadn't thought about what I was saying because the whole reason I got into fashion was to rebel against my bullies, not to impress guys. Plus, it is more important to impress your mentors and your parents because when it comes down to it, they are the ones that will contribute most to your future. I do feel obliged to note that it is most important to impress yourself. It's your life and you should be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished.
On a not so serious note, I am exhausted already and it has only been one week of school. Do you know that calm moment right before something big and/or crazy happens? Well, that is how I feel right now and it is freaking me out. To relax myself I have been trying to wear more fun and girly clothing items to remind myself that this year will most likely go smoother than last year. Here's what I wore today:
I am wearing a vintage dress from Shareen Vintage in LA, my black vans, and poker-chip earrings I made.
Shareen Vintage ( http://shareen.com ) has such a beautiful, large variety of vintage clothing in a range of sizes. Although it is a little pricier than what I usually pay for clothes, it is very much worth it. If you're ever in LA, it is a place I recommend checking out. Unfortunately, it only has female clothing and no changing rooms so men aren't allowed in.
Part of being a student is mastering the art of procrastination, which at the moment I must take a break from. Stay darling.
