Spring Favorites
1. Serrahna Coat
I love this coat because of it's unusual pattern and feminine shape. Put together they make a weird, but fantastic coat that no one else has. I'm always in a good mood when I wear it because it is so much fun to wear.
2. Bull Bolo Tie
This has become one of my essential pieces of jewelry. The screw in the bull and the silver color make the tie give the illusion that I am hardcore. It also goes with basically everything I wear. The oddness of it really pulls an outfit together and gives it that final punch every outfit needs.
3. "Lemony Flutter" Cuticle Butter from Lush
I used to have really coarse hands, but then I bought this wonderful product. I apply this when ever I can remember (or when I'm bored) and it's super thick, so it's perfect for your hands. My cuticles look pretty healthy too.
4. Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm in "Red Dahlia"
When I first bought this I did not like it because I didn't think it worked. Recently I gave it another chance and fell in love with it. It is simply lip balm with a hint of red in it, but it makes lips look luscious and kissable.
5. Gay Men Don't Get Fat by Simon Doonan
I was browsing around at a bookstore when I came across this hot pink book by none other than the creative director for Barney's New York. I simply couldn't resist buying it and what a great buy it was! This book is so hilarious and is the perfect way for me to wind down before bed, after a stressful day of brain activity. This book talks about all different kinds of people, books, movies, idols, music, the 70's, the 80's, fashion, food and one thing people don't really explain sanely to young people, prostitution. Read this when you're down because it's sure to cheer you up!
6. Bobbi Brown Teenage Beauty by Bobbi Brown
This book is PERFECT for teenage girls today. It delivers the vital message of letting your makeup support your natural beauty to teen girls in big, pink block letters. This is my favorite makeup book for teens because it is very down to earth, genuine and is a reminder to teens in an overly sexualized, materialistic world not to hide behind their makeup.
7. Paolo Shoes
You know those days when you want to wear flats, but don't want to look too girly or boring? That is literally how I feel everyday and these shoes save me almost every time(sometimes I give into the heels, but that is besides the point). When my mother decided she didn't want them anymore, I jumped at the chance to steal them from her. They are a size too big so I get to wear big, soft, fuzzy socks with them(which just makes everything easier to deal with) and since they are black, they go with everything.
I hope you all are having a wonderful spring!
